Thanksgiving Reflection & Ministry Highlights
This Thanksgiving, we express our deepest gratitude to God for His continued faithfulness and for everyone who has partnered with Welcome to My Father’s House (WTMFH) in ministry throughout 2024. Together, we’ve seen incredible growth and transformation in the lives of individuals and communities.
Education Program
We’re thankful for the partnership with South Creek Church, which helped launch the 2024 academic year by providing essential materials for elementary and high school students. God’s provision also included a generous donation of 30 laptops from Grove College, enabling our students to access lessons and complete assignments with confidence. This year, 7 students graduated—5 with accounting diplomas and 2 with general studies diplomas, marking a significant milestone as first-generation high school graduates.
Community Outreach
We’re grateful to Belle and Sparrows Ministry for their eight years of empowering women in the Tabacal area. Through craft education, entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and medical assistance, they’ve brought lasting hope and transformation to countless lives. Special thanks to Lynde Sherry Griggs and Esteliz Mejia Gillett for their leadership in women’s programs and medical services.
Children’s Ministry
In 2024, we expanded our children’s outreach, reaching over 400 children through Bible school programs, thanks to the support of Newsprint Church and Miamisburg Assemblies of God Church. These programs provided meaningful opportunities for children to engage with God’s Word and grow spiritually, with the help of dedicated volunteers.
Construction Ministry
We also saw the completion of Pastor Carlos Osorio’s church in La Reina, made possible by mission teams who helped transform a dirt-floor building into a durable, cement-block structure. This facility will serve as a vital hub for worship, prayer, and community outreach.
Medical Ministry
The Saint Matthew’s Church Medical Team continues to bring healing and hope to our communities. Through generous medicine donations and compassionate care, they’ve treated many patients, including providing a year’s supply of heart medication for an elderly gentleman in need.
